New energy vehicle intelligent production line

New energy vehicle intelligent production line

Highly Modular and Simplified Design

Simplified Core Components: The core of an electric vehicle is the "three-electric system" (battery, motor, and electronic control). Its mechanical structure is far simpler than the engine, transmission, drive shaft, and exhaust system of a fuel-powered vehicle. This reduces the number of parts by approximately 30%-40%.

Improved Production Efficiency: Fewer parts means fewer assembly steps, lower assembly error rates, and shorter production times. This directly improves production cycle time and overall efficiency.

Intelligent manufacturing and a high degree of automation

Most newly established production lines were built from the ground up, designed from the outset to utilize cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, such as:

Extensive use of industrial robots: Nearly 100% automation is achieved in processes such as battery pack assembly, body welding, gluing, and painting.

Data-driven production: Leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), full-process data monitoring, quality traceability, and predictive maintenance are implemented, significantly improving production accuracy and yield rates.

Flexible production: Based on modular platforms (such as BYD's e-Platform 3.0 and Geely's SEA architecture), a single production line can quickly switch between producing different vehicle models (SUVs, sedans, etc.), better responding to rapidly changing market demand.
